This safari in Tanzania lasts for 3 days. It starts and ends in Arusha. During the trip, you will visit parks that are close by, including the famous Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire National Park (known for its elephants and baobab trees), and Lake Manyara National Park (which is lush and green). The fact that the parks are situated close to each other makes this safari suitable for people of all ages. In the Karatu area, you have options for accommodations ranging from tented camps with views to more affordable lodges.

Start your day by leaving Arusha (or Moshi) in the morning and heading towards Tarangire National Park. This park, which is the largest, in Tanzania is famous for its Baobab trees and impressive herds of elephants. You’ll also have the chance to spot wildlife, like the Oryx and hirolas. After an exploration of the park you can choose to either stay at Sangaiwe Tented Camp, which offers views of the plains and Lake Burunge or transfer to Karatu for comfortable lodge accommodations. Meals are included as part of this experience.

Ngorongoro Crater

Start your day with a breakfast. Then embark on a drive, to the Ngorongoro Crater, which is known as the largest volcanic caldera that remains intact in the world. It serves as a sanctuary for a variety of wildlife including the black rhino. During your visit you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a game drive within the crater where you can spot animals possibly even encountering the Big 5 all while accompanied by your knowledgeable guide. On you can choose to either ascend to a lodge situated on the rim of the crater or make your way, to Karatu outside of this protected area. You’ll spend the night at a selected lodge where all meals will be provided for you.

Lake Manyara – Transfer to back Arusha Area / Departure

Start your day with an early breakfast then make your way, to Lake Manyara National Park situated in the Great Rift Valley. It’s the day of your 3 day Tanzania adventure. This park is famous for its tree climbing lions and the beautiful euphorbia tirucalli trees. You’ll also be surrounded by a forest that’s home to a variety of animals. Don’t forget to visit the lake, where you can see hippos and vibrant birds like flamingoes. To wrap up this experience take a drive back to Arusha around midday for drop off or you can choose to opt for a transfer, to Kilimanjaro Airport. All meals are included in this journey.
