Tour Overview Packages

Embark on a 6-day Tanzanian safari exploring the wildlife-rich Ngorongoro Crater, the scenic Lake Manyara with its flamingos, and the elephant kingdom of Tarangire National Park with its iconic Baobab trees. This private journey allows personalized pacing with your own vehicle and guide. Stay in Silver class hotels, with options to upgrade to Gold or Platinum for added luxury.

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, in Arusha our representative will be there to welcome you and assist you in getting to Karama Lodge Hotel. Once you settle in at the lodge there will be a briefing and then you can relax and have your dinner.

Experience a day surrounded by the wildlife of Tarangire National Park. This park is known for its bushland and the Tarangire River, which support a variety of animals and plants. Marvel at the sight of herds of elephants, zebras, giraffes and an array of bird species thriving in their natural environment.

After breakfast you will depart for Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch in hand. You will enjoy a game drive en route. The Serengeti is famed for its incredible wildlife, stunning views and the annual migration of over 1.5 million wildebeest and hundreds of thousands of zebras. In this frenzied bout of territorial conquests and mating, witness an actual survival of the fittest as these animals plunge through crocodile-infested waters. The wildebeest will birth more than 8,000 calves daily before the 1,000 km (600 mile) pilgrimage begins again.

Following breakfast, embark on a journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for an exhilarating game drive. Located west of Arusha, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is famed for the world’s largest caldera, the Ngorongoro Crater. With its breathtaking landscapes and rich concentration of wildlife, Ngorongoro stands as one of the planet’s most unique natural marvels.

Enjoy a leisurely morning and breakfast. If your schedule permits, opt for a guided nature walk along the Endoro trail to the Elephant Cave, taking about 2-3 hours (cost is $30 per person). Return for a hot lunch, then drive back to Arusha. If staying overnight, arrangements are on your own, or you can be dropped off at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Late flights, such as KLM, are ideal for departures on this day.
