1

Moshi/Arusha Airport to Lake Manyara National Park

Departing from Moshi, Arusha, or the airport, we’ll journey to Lake Manyara National Park, nestled at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment. This diverse park, with its pink-hued shores and flamingos, boasts over 400 bird species and a myriad of wildlife, including baboons, hippos, elephants, and more. After a picturesque picnic lunch in the park, we’ll head to the accommodations of your choice for an authentic experience. Wrap up the day with dinner and some well-deserved rest

2

Lake Manyara National Park to Serengeti National Park

Post-breakfast, we’ll head to the Serengeti National Park, passing the crater rim with potential wildlife sightings. Recognized as one of Africa’s seven natural wonders, we’ll enjoy a picnic lunch on a kopje before diving deeper into the Serengeti for the day’s tour. The night will be spent at the Serengeti. Finally conclude your day with a dinner and a nights rest, at your accommodation.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

We’ll start our day in central Serengeti, with the morning dedicated to game viewing, an optimal time to witness the circle of life in action. As we explore, we might spot hyenas feasting on leftovers, while fresh tracks hint at recent animal movements. The Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest game reserve, houses a rich tapestry of wildlife, from leopards to migratory birds. Post lunch in the park, we’ll journey to Ngorongoro, reaching your destination by late afternoon. An appetizing dinner awaits in the evening.

Ngorongoro Crater to Departure

Begin your day with breakfast, then make your way down into the Ngorongoro Crater. As you descend from the slopes, you’ll enter into a vast savannah teeming with an incredible variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of the Big Five and be amazed, by the presence of, over 500 species of birds. After a morning filled with exploration and a lovely picnic, you’ll bid farewell to this place in the afternoon. Return to Arusha by early evening.

Lake Manyara National Park

The lush green vegetation consisting of tall trees of the ground water forest, the tree climbing lions, the soda lake inhabited with thousands of pink-hued flamingos, large water birds and the troops of baboons and blue monkeys and the rift valley escarpment make your safari to this area unforgettable.

The park derives its name from a plant called Euphorbia tirucalli, known as Emanyara in Maasai language and covers an area of 648.7 km2.
